St Vincent's Hospital, Sydney NSW
St Vincent's Xavier building is an 11 storey
state-of-the-art medical and health care facility shared by St
Vincent's Private and Public Hospitals. Key challenges during the
project included the need to design and construct Xavier having
regard to its necessary integration with the existing Aikenhead
hospital building, to achieve BCA compliance and without impact on
existing hospital operations during construction. HENDRY provided
certification services for this Crown project from design stage
through to the 2 year plus construction phase. By undertaking a
Crown Certification role, HENDRY ensured a Building Code of Australia compliant
result for the team.

Acute Hospital Building, Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH), Sydney NSW
A
principal referral hospital and one of the largest and most complex
within NSW, The Acute Building will be a new 9 storey state of the
art medical and health care facility with a floor area of about
90,000m2. HENDRY are the project Building Surveying Consultants,
enabling BCA compliance from design through to the construction
phase of the project, due for completion in 2012.
Epworth Hospital Richmond VIC
Epworth Health Care is a provider of acute medical,
surgical and rehabilitation services in Melbourne. With over 1200
beds and more than 4000 staff, Epworth Health Care is Victoria's
largest non-for-profit private hospital group. Epworth Richmond has
520 beds and is equipped with quality facilities and latest
technologies including a 15 bed Intensive Care Unit and 18
operating theatres. HENDRY were the consultant building surveyors
for the construction of the multi storey additions to the Richmond
Hospital comprising basement car parking, ward areas, doctor's
suits and examination rooms. HENDRY provided building permits and
occupancy permits, professional and expert advice for the
performance based building under the Building Code of Australia.
Community Health Building, Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney NSW
The Community Health Building is a new 7
storey state of the art medical health care facility at Royal North
Shore Hospital. In conjunction with the Acute Building, HENDRY
Building Surveying Consultants are assisting Thiess with BCA
Consultancy Services from concept design stage to construction and
project completion.
Douglas Building, Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney NSW
The
Douglas Building, completed in 2003, is a 6 storey extension to the
RNSH which accommodates the Emergency Department. HENDRY Building
Surveying Consultants assisted Thiess Services with a BCA
Compliance Audit inspection and report concerning fire safety
matters, identifying BCA fire safety compliance issues and
recommending upgrade solutions to assist the client's decision
making process.
