Dangerous Goods Audits

HENDRY building surveyors, in consort with specialists if necessary, can produce dangerous goods audits that assist in the design layout, storage layout and special requirements of dangerous goods regulations and Building Code of Australia. Dangerous goods audits list substances or articles that may be corrosive, flammable, explosive, spontaneously combustible, toxic, oxidising or water-reactive in a building or property.

Because of their properties, dangerous goods can cause serious injury and can severely damage property and the environment. Dangerous goods audits advise that it is extremely important that dangerous goods are stored and handled safely. Some dangerous goods audits will nominate the explosives, asbestos, infectious substances and radioactive substances, are covered by other regulations.
