As Built Drawings

HENDRY can provide as built drawings for any type of building or portfolio of buildings either locally or nationally.

Clients need as built drawings for all types of reasons, some of which are:

the necessity to know what has been built compared to contract plans
requiring accurate as built drawings for imminent or future building works/ building approval applications
requiring accurate plans for (as built drawings) authority negotiations
for due diligence purposes relative to the sale or purchase of a building or portfolio of buildings
location of all essential safety measures needing maintenance

As built drawings can be used in the future by architects and engineers embarking on proposed building alterations to a building to show compliance with the Building Code of Australia.

As Built Drawings: CAD Format

HENDRY prepares all as built drawings in CAD format based on utilising the latest laser measuring technology. Old hard copies of drawings (originals or old as built drawings) may be able to be scanned and utilised in the process of developing the CAD formatted as built drawings.

As Built Drawings: Evacuation Drawings

Once HENDRY as built drawings are developed, you may also wish to consider (at a marginal extra cost), for HENDRY to convert your as built drawings to evacuation diagrams/ signs as required and AS 3745 - 2010 Planning for emergencies in buildings.

As Built Drawings: Building Surveyors

HENDRY, as qualified building surveyors, are able to nominate on the as built drawings, any statutory features within the building you may require highlighted, such as fire walls, smoke walls or mandatory escape paths to exits. As built drawings can be used as the basis for evacuation diagrams or evacuation signs.
